Valuing People Now: From Progress to Transformation

Valuing People Now: From Progress to Transformation is a new consultation paper which sets out the priorities for services for people with learning disabilities over the years 2008 - 2011.
These priorities are mainly focused around: personalisation, what people do during the day, better health, access to housing and making sure that change happens.
At 'Housing Options' our own particular focus is around housing, and we are pleased to see that some of the thorny issues about which we have been talking with government departments are included in this draft.

Valuing People Now seeks people's views on the priorities for the learning disability agenda over the next three years.
