Help for the Digital TV Switchover

From next year onwards, TV is going digital. However, this doesn't mean you have to buy a new tv.

Digital UK is offering help to older and disabled people so they can switch from analgoue to digital. People on disability living allowance can receive practical help and support from them for this.

There is a cost of £40, except for the poorest eligible households. If people get income support, income-based jobseeker's allowance or pension credit, it will be free.

What you get for your money (or free) is the equipment to convert one tv set, help with installation and follow-up support.
